Kunes MKE Is Proud to Sponsor Fiesta Puerto Rico Parade & Festival

Published on Jun 5, 2026 by Matthew Kroll

At Kunes, we've always believed that being part of a community means more than just doing business in it. It means showing up — for the people, the moments, and the traditions that make a place worth calling home. That's why we're honored to be a sponsor of Fiesta Puerto Rico 2026, one of Milwaukee's most vibrant and meaningful annual celebrations.

What Is Fiesta Puerto Rico?

Every year, Milwaukee's Puerto Rican community comes together to celebrate their heritage, their history, and their deep roots in this city. Fiesta Puerto Rico commemorates the National Puerto Rican Day Parade and serves as a testament to the spirit, pride, and heritage of the Puerto Rican people — a day when Milwaukee's streets come alive with the sounds of salsa and bomba, colorful floats, and dancers adorned in the iconic red, white, and blue of the Puerto Rican flag.

This year's celebration carries special significance. The 2026 parade marks 250 years of Puerto Ricans serving this nation — from the earliest days of the American War of Independence to modern-day service abroad — honoring a legacy of dedication, bravery, and sacrifice that has helped shape the history of the United States.

That's a history worth celebrating.

When & Where

The parade takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, along Oklahoma Avenue from 20th Street to 6th Street in Milwaukee, with a kickoff at 11:00 AM. The festival continues at Humboldt Park, where the community gathers for food, music, dancing, and connection.

Come Find Us

Kunes MKE will have a booth at the festival — we'd love to see you. Stop by to say hello, learn more about what we offer, and celebrate the day with us. We're not just a dealership; we're your neighbors, and days like this remind us why that matters.

Milwaukee is a city that has always been built by its communities — and the Puerto Rican community has been an essential part of that story for generations. We're grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside them this year.

¡Que viva Puerto Rico! See you on June 7.
