A Couple of 2027 Models Are Simplifying
Two of Buick’s compact crossovers are getting streamlined for 2027. The Encore GX is moving to a single, more powerful 155 horsepower engine and a tighter color and trim lineup for the new model year. The Envision wrapped up 2026 production in late August, and GM hasn’t shared a 2027 start date yet, which simply means a 2026 Envision at one of our Milwaukee-area stores is the surest bet if you want one soon. Neither change has been called an official shortage, just a simpler, more focused lineup for 2027.
Steady Rollouts for the Rest of the Buick Lineup
Not every Buick is seeing the same disruption. The 2027 Buick Enclave began regular production on July 20 with two new paint colors and modest price increases. The 2027 Buick Envista carries over its engine and fuel economy numbers, with production starting around mid-2026. Both are moving through a normal, on-schedule changeover.
